How is cost per mile worked out?
We take everything logged against a vehicle over the last 12 months and divide it by the miles driven in that time, from mileage readings at checks, fill-ups and services. It appears once there are at least two readings.
How is fuel economy worked out?
Using the fill-to-full method: the miles between two full-tank fill-ups, divided by the fuel added at the second one. If the numbers don't add up (for example a missed fill-up), we don't show a figure rather than show a wrong one.
Can I keep receipts and invoices?
Yes. Photos and PDFs are stored against each vehicle, alongside insurance documents, V5Cs and MOT certificates.
