Terms of service
These terms cover your use of Motorlane Fleet, a service run by Interstellar Alliance Ltd (company no. 17544206), 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions? Email support@motorlane.uk.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login details safe, and for anyone you give access to, including your drivers.
- You must only add drivers who have agreed to you entering their details.
- The information you put in, such as vehicles, costs, documents and driver details, belongs to you.
Free trial and plans
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. You add a payment card when you sign up; nothing is charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and is charged to that card automatically.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future payments; we don't refund part-months.
- If a trial ends or a subscription stops, your account becomes read-only. We keep your data so you can pick a plan later.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
Reminders and lookups
MOT data comes from the DVSA and may be incomplete or out of date. Reminders are there to help, but keeping your vehicles legal, taxed, insured and roadworthy is always your responsibility. Always check official sources such as GOV.UK.
Fair use
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, try to access other customers' data, or upload anything harmful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Motorlane Fleet running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as fines or lost business, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.
Closing your account
Email us to close your account and we'll delete your data, except anything we must keep by law (such as billing records).
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
