Good to know

Where does the MOT date come from?

From the DVSA's MOT history service. When you add a registration we look it up, and we check every vehicle again each week. Brand-new vehicles don't need an MOT until they're 3 years old, so they won't have one yet.

Can you fill in the road tax date automatically?

Not yet; for now you add it once yourself. You can check any vehicle's tax status for free on GOV.UK. Here's how.

Do reminders come by email?

Reminders always appear as alerts in the app. Email reminders go to account owners once email delivery is switched on for your account.

Can I edit dates for lots of vehicles at once?

Yes. The "Edit all dates" screen shows every vehicle on one page, so you can fill in MOT, tax, insurance and service dates in one go.
